Superlative cocktails and inspired Italian cuisine have made Winey Bar & Restaurant a huge success in Mong Kok. Found on the eighth floor of Dundas Square on Hong Kong’s Dundas Street, this foodie favourite is a classy place to enjoy after-work drinks or an authentic Italian dinner in classy surrounds. And if you feel like being a high roller, Winey Bar offers three beautiful VIP rooms where you can live it up like royalty.
Wood panelling, burgundy leather seating and sleek black tablecloths give Hong Kong’s Winey Bar & Restaurant its stylish appeal. The grand piano and wine displays only add to the restaurant’s sophisticated vibe, and the friendly service is the icing on the cake. Popular cocktails here include the Purple Rain, the Black Russian and the Nothing, a drink made with Absolut vodka, Malibu, cointreau, melon liqueur and pineapple juice.
At Winey Bar & Restaurant, you’ll enjoy some of Mong Kok’s best Italian cuisine. You could choose to begin your meal by ordering an array of snacks like fried onion rings, cheesy baked nachos or Spanish pan-fried fresh squid, or alternatively head straight to the mains for delicious options like Bolognese penne, porcini mushroom risotto with black truffle, smoked duck breast risotto with creamy sauce, or linguine alle vongole. Whether it’s a sophisticated Italian dinner or drinks with friends, a reservation for Hong Kong’s Winey Bar & Restaurant – inside Dundas Square on Dundas Street – is the only surefire way to secure a table.
The food was great with reasonable price, but the service was not excellent. Drink tasted great too and the environment was also a nice place for people to hangout
