Despite their location in Hong Kong’s North Point – once known as Little Shanghai – Tulsi Indian Restaurant brings the very best of the subcontinent to this stretch of Kowloon Bay. They use the freshest ingredients possible and infuse them with well-blended spices, before cooking them up to perfection: try the Reshmi kebab, boneless chicken marinated in cream and herbs before taking a brief dip in the tandoor, or go for something stronger in the form of the Lamb Rogan Josh, cooked a fiery red gravy and no small amount of spice. Tulsi was mentioned in 2012 and 2013 in the pages of the Michelin Guide, and we can’t say fairer than that. Book yourself a table at their restaurant on Tsat Tsz Mui Road – you’ll need to take the MRT to North Point or Quarry Bay – for an Indian meal to remember.
Food is always fresh, and excellently prepared. The staff are friendly and very gracious. My favorite restaurant.
