Given the current climate surrounding COVID-19, many authorities are placing restrictions on social gatherings. In the best interest of everyone’s safety, we are continuously updating the availability of our partner restaurants to reflect these measures. We encourage people to still support the restaurant industry in other ways.Learn how
There’s never a bad time for Japanese barbecue, and there’s nobody doing it better in Hong Kong than Tori Izakaya. Found way up on the 17th floor of the Macau Yat Yuen Centre on Hennessy Road, this Japanese bar and restaurant specialises in the art of grilling, snacking, and of course, sake. The yakitori on offer here is just about as good as it gets, and features a wide range of meats, seafood, vegetables and delicious sides that compliment your grilled selection perfectly. The dining environment alone is impressive at Tori Izakaya, and features Japanese design elements that give the space an authentic feeling. Choose from skewered delights like foie gras, lamb chop, beef fillet with salt, ox tongue, and pork, or get exotic with some crispy chicken gristle or duck tongue. Tori Izakaya’s got just what you’re craving, so swing by for a fun communal dining experience in Causeway Bay.
Good food, however they proceeded to recommend us daily specials which were very expensive and didn’t advise the price before we ordered. Felt that the staff were disingenuous
The service and food are great but the downside is that my party was assigned to a tiny bar table, while we had made a reservation initially. I understand that they could not tell when the clients should leave (given the price range of the place), so the only way to minimize dissatisfaction is to not take any reservations - first-come first-served.
