Given the current climate surrounding COVID-19, many authorities are placing restrictions on social gatherings. In the best interest of everyone’s safety, we are continuously updating the availability of our partner restaurants to reflect these measures. We encourage people to still support the restaurant industry in other ways.Learn how
Inspired by Japanese izakaya – informal gastropubs where people gather to eat, drink and relax – TokyoLima is a buzzing late-night restaurant and bar, found on the ground floor of the Car Po Commercial Building on Lyndhurst Terrace. Whether it's for an after work drink or some brunch at the weekend, TokyoLima is a popular spot, serving up nikkei cuisine – a fusion of Japanese and Peruvian dishes. Drawing in crowds from all over Hong Kong to its Central location, spaces at TokyoLima are limited. To guarantee a table at this popular bar and restaurant, making a reservation in advance is recommended.

The first and second courses were far better, but the overall atmosphere is unique enough to warrant a visit
Me and my girlfriend enjoy the valentine's meal very much
Valentines Day Massacre - TL is one of my favorites and food is always great. However they completely botched Valentines Dinner. Kitchen was not ready and we waited three hours to get to main course. Need to fix this or understand you cannot execute at that volume level. Think out for next year.
Dear diners, please note that reservations are for a dining time of 2 hours.
Dating back over one hundred years, nikkei cuisine originated from Peru’s large Japanese community, fusing together the delicate flavours of Japan with the fiery and colorful flavours of Peru, and at TokyoLima in Central Hong Kong you can experience this type of cooking for yourself. Styled like a Japanese izakaya, TokyoLima’s casual vibe makes it the perfect setting for a number of different occasions, whether it's a catch up with friends or a first date. Begin your meal perhaps with the signature La Causa with prawn tartare, or the ceviche, before moving on to the tacu tacu (rice and lentils with vegetable stir-fry, chimichurri and yellow chili paste) or the pollo a la brasa (Peruvian grilled chicken marinated in kimchi and orange).
The selection of small plates like the nikkei mussels pot with yellow chilli butter, bacon, coriander and sourdough bread are great for sharing around the table with friends, while other delicious choices on the menu include an array of nikkei sushi. We recommend the Maguro Nuevo which consists of Maguro tuna, avocado and tobiko with beetroot mayo. The drinks menu is as creative as the food, boasting a lengthy list of inventive cocktails as well as an impressive collection of over twenty different sakes. You’ll find TokyoLima located on ground floor of the Car Po Commercial Building on Lyndhurst Terrace in Central Hong Kong. Snag a table by making a reservation in advance!
