SPIGA in Hong Kong is an atmospheric and upmarket Italian restaurant from Michelin-starred chef Enrico Bartolini. This is Bartolini’s first restaurant outside of Italy and thankfully no flavour or authenticity has been lost on the journey from the homeland to Hong Kong’s Central district. With the majority of ingredients imported directly from Italy, the menu showcases the best of Italian regional cuisine. Guests can sample burrata from Puglia, Piedmontese beef carpaccio, spaghetti carbonara from Rome, a famous Florentine T-bone steak or Sicilian red prawns. Regardless of what dish you order, the innovative approach to traditional Italian food will delight your senses. To complement the food a top-quality drinks list is available, full of exceptional Italian and international wines. Located on Queen’s Road Central, SPIGA also has a truly ambient and stylish dining room designed by Joyce Wang Studio. Bookings are essential.

One of the best Italian meals I’ve ever had in Hong Kong. The signature lobster linguine is very delicious and the lobster meat fresh. My favourite though are the sea bass carpaccio and beetroot and mascarpone salad. Both suit my preference for a milder taste. Ordered Margherita pizza too but that’s not very special.
Second visit. Service and food both good. Tried the lamb shoulder, it was so tender and tasted excellent with the onion and zucchini.
Food was really good and service also good - although a little delayed but understandable as the place was packed.
