About 辣回香Sichuan Chili Club
More about the restaurant: 辣回香Sichuan Chili Club
Joining Hon Kong’s Sichuan Chilli Club is a must for any fan of the spicy side of regional Chinese cuisine. The northwestern province of Sichuan is known for its liberal use of fiery hot chillies in many of its dishes, and this restaurant on the ground floor of the Fook Wah Mansion, along Tsing Fung Street in Causeway Bay, equidistant between Tin Hau and Fortress Hill stations, is one of the city’s best representatives. It’s a gloriously colourful place to dine, with red decor emphasising its Chinese provenance and, of course, the heat in the kitchen. Signature dishes like the Sichuan deep-fried hot chicken, stir-fried beef or eel with Sichuan chilli, and the Sichuan pork dumplings come highly recommended. Just make sure you have a cooling drink on hand to extinguish the flames.
