The quality of food is nice. However, the service can be improved. One of the waitress didnt carry any smile and was not helpful at all. We asked if any basket available for putting out stuff. She just replied there isnt any and not providing other solutions. Finally we asked another one and the manager provided us a chair to put our stuff. Overall, the atmosphere and food are good. Yet there can be improvement in the service
the resterant is quite nice and quite. The waiter is also good who will suggest their recommendation to us. The food is delicious and nice
Food was good, I would have given a higher rating if it was not because of below issue: Staff at the restaurant had no idea regarding my booking despite my booking was made 3 days ago??? And even tried to blame me if I only made the reservation mins before we arrived the restaurant! I showed them my confirmation email on my mobile phone and the staff was like, why I'm fussing about while I was trying to figure out if I should not make booking via your website in the future.
Many Western restaurants make their way this far East but fail to make a lasting impression. This is not the story with Hong Kong’s Si Simply Italian. Although this Italian restaurant is new, you know as soon as you walk through the glass front doors that Si Simply Italian is here to stay – it’s a first impression you won't forget. Located in Lai Chi Kok on Cheung Shun Street, the restaurant oozes style as well as substance. Focused around an open kitchen, the decor is neutral yet exciting. There’s plenty of exposed brick and rustic wood, with a varied seating arrangement that means you’ll have the perfect spot whether eating or simply enjoying a drink.
Chances are, however, you will be eating. Because when the food is as good as Si Simply Italian’s, it’s rather rude not to. Every dish is gourmet and prepared using the freshest Italian ingredients. Menus differ depending on the time you go but some of our highlights are the linguine with crabmeat, the Mediterranean skate, pan fried with tomato and olive, or the homemade casareccia with porcini mushroom sauce. This is as good Italian food as you’ll find anywhere in Lai Chi Kok, prepared with nothing but love.
