Second Draft in Hong Kong is a gastro-pub with a difference. International dishes developed by Star chef May Chow are served sharing style, in small plates or larger platters, but these are not your usual gastro-pub fare. Take the French Toast, which is given a local twist and doused with foie-gras butter. The fusion food is as exciting and cool as the young staff who give friendly advice about the menu and the huge range of international beers on tap. The ceilings are high and the interior minimal; could things get any cooler? Do what the Tai Hang locals do and get down to Second Draft on Tung Lo Wan Road today.

Great food, great beer, cheerful ambience, reasonable service from wait staff.
Great food, drink & atmosphere. Service was alright, however I expected more ie high quality / warmth particularly as this is my ‘local’ that I’ve been coming to for the last 5-6 years - the issue may be that staff turnover has been rather frequent, to the point that loyal/regular customers aren’t treated as such - not sure how to solve, but I highly recommend owner/leaders look to solve this, or those loyal/regular customers won’t be such for very long more!
