Hong Kong is a melting pot of global cuisines, and at Pivo you can experience a piece of Czech culture. The Czech Republic is known for its hearty cuisine and amazing beer and you’ll find both over at Pivo. Decorated in an old world style, with dark wooden benches and Czech writing inscribed on the wall, Pivo has a cosy ambience. Tuck into some goulash, roasted bone marrow with braised oxtail and bread dumplings or share the mixed platter with sausages, pork belly and cabbage. Pivo means beer in Czech and of course you’ll find a hefty selection of world-renowned beers from the Czech Republic at this charming bar and restaurant. Located on the roof level of Elements on Austin Road West, Pivo is the perfect place for a European retreat in Hong Kong’s Tsim Sha Tsui.
Food came very fast. Service was alright, could be better if the waitress was more cheerful and offered water after we were seated.
Great food and very accommodating staff. Interiors are casual and comfortable even on the high stools. Czech beers are the best. Gets kinda full on the weekends so best to reserve ahead of time.
Always a nice place to chill out on civic square, good atmosphere great beers but the service should be improved!
