Mama Malouf in Hong Kong is a modern Lebanese restaurant in the heart of Kennedy Town and locals can’t seem to get enough of its honest and authentic cooking. Named in honour of the owner's mother, Mama Malouf believes that cooking isn’t just about recipes, but also about engaging all the senses. They endeavour to create a space of kindness, generosity and openness – and what Mama says, goes. The menu is inspired by the flavours of the Mediterranean and customers can expect great tasting food like smashed eggplant with za'atar, cumin fried calamari, sea bass with tahini and shawarma chicken. The charming and cosy decor will make you feel at home and the excellent service will have you coming back time and time again. So, if you’re looking for a home away from home, head down to Catchick Street and give Mama Malouf a try. To avoid missing out, book your table in advance.

The service was incredibly slow, inattentive and some of the food wasn’t fully cooked (Creme Brûlée) or overcooked (Haloumi). The dips were also very ordinary ..... tasted like low end store bought dips. And the baklava was stale. The highlight were the chicken skewers.
Overall food was delicious. Simple menu done right. Would go back
Had to wait a while for the food, and it was quite pricey, but loved the food!
