Just steps from Kwun Tong station, Mage Kitchen is a standout for quality steakhouse cuisine and American-inspired specialities. Found on the second floor of the Yip Fat Building on Hoi Yuen Road, Mage Kitchen is one of the most popular spots to get a great steak in the Kwun Tong area. No matter what draws you there, whether it’s the hip atmosphere or the tasty food, you’re sure to leave happy and satisfied.
Worth to go there again. Less than 5 mins walk from Kwun Tong MTR station. A very place good for friends gathering and chit chat.
The American-inspired food over at Hong Kong’s Mage Kitchen is about as good as it gets. From big hearty steaks to pan-fried garoupa fillet, this Kwun Tong restaurant offers some of the most straight-to-the-point and flavourful dishes that the city has to offer. Despite the seemingly simple ingredients used in the kitchen, the food on offer is complex and uniquely flavoured, with sizeable portions and plenty of tasty side items to boot.
When visiting Mage Kitchen – found on the second floor of Kwun Tong’s Yip Fat Building on Hoi Yuen Road – you’ll want to indulge in one of the restaurant’s famous steaks. Our favourite is the grilled eight-ounce US angus sirloin steak, a hearty cut of meat that’s juicy and succulent. Other favourites here include the chicken roll stuffed with wild mushroom, served with a green pepper sauce, the braised beef shin bourguignon, and the pan-seared salmon fillet with avocado salad. Mage Kitchen offers up a number of decadent desserts too, so stop by often to see what’s in store for you.
