For meat-eaters and herbivores alike, M Garden Vegetarian shines for its ability to bring people together through great cuisine, excellent service and a stunning atmosphere. Some come for the mock meats, some for the tofu, and others for the fresh vegetable dishes, and all of them leave happy thanks to the kitchen crew’s ability to weave ingredients and flavours together for a stunning result. Found on the second floor of Omega Plaza along Mong Kok’s Dundas Street, M Garden Vegetarian is easy to reach from both Yau Ma Tei and Mong Kok MTR stations. Highlights on the menu here include the stir-fried shredded vegetarian abalone with celery and bean sprouts, the (meat-free) spare ribs with blackened vinegar sauce, and the healthy stir-fried pine nuts with water lily bulb, fresh asparagus and sweet carrots. I am still amazed at how good the food was. Despite being a busy restaurant, the servers and staffs is reliable and will give you good service. Non-cantonese speakers (like us) won’t have a problem be because they have an english menu and can communicate in english well enough to get what you want. Food is relevantly cheap considering how great the food was. This was my first time dining in and definitely won’t be the last. I had a great time, thank you for the good service! Hope y’all maintain it til we come back to visit HK.
