About Leisurely Veggie / 悠蔬食
About the restaurant
A newcomer to the Causeway Bay dining scene, The Leisurely Veggie is part tearoom, part vegetarian dream for Hong Kong’s herbivores. This quaint escape in Jardine’s Bazaar is an idyllic spot for a quiet brew away from the speed of life that bustles around it. The Leisurely Veggie, as its name suggests, is a great spot for some laidback vegetarian food in the city and a pleasant way to while away a few hours.
Take a leisurely look at Leisurely Veggie’s CNY lunch and dinner set menus!
The Leisurely Veggie arrived in Causeway Bay with relatively little fanfare – but since its arrival it has been making serious in-roads into the area’s dining scene. Serving exclusively vegetarian-friendly food (and without relying on faux-meat supplements) the team at The Leisurely Veggie is
revolutionary indeed. The place is cutesy without crossing over into kitsch – all baby blue and white
with cast-iron furniture, something that is encouraging Hong Kong’s young, fun and environmentally- conscious to stop and stay.
The menu here represents good value for fine vegetarian food. The set menus are extremely popular at The Leisurely Veggie – lunch can consist of several courses of fragrant and filling vegetarian specials, including delicate fried bean curd spring rolls and a luxuriantly creamy cauliflower soups. For those that like their vegetarian food sweet as well as fresh, the Jardine's Bazaar team do an excellent line of juices and smoothies – we’re partial to the daily omega boost special with apple, pear and aloe. There are so few places committed to vegetarian food in Hong Kong that naturally. The Leisurely Veggie fills up all of the time so reservation is a must!
