About Katsuhachi 10th Floor 勝八鉄板串料理
More about the restaurant: Katsuhachi 10th Floor 勝八鉄板串料理
As you would expect from any Japanese teppanyaki joint in Hong Kong, this hideaway off Tang Lung Street has plenty of succulent meat and seafood flying off the sizzling grill, from juicy mackerel to chunky vegetables, hefty chicken steaks and thinly sliced American beef, with the classic pork with ginger an all-time favourite. That’s not, however, the be all and end all of Katsuhachi on the 10th floor of Circle Tower, because the lunch and dinner menus sport a wide spread of other Japanese standards. From sets of slippery sashimi to those of crispy tempura prawns, with some intriguing options like the red fish Saikyo miso grilled set dotted around too, the offerings are varied and delicious enough to suit every occasion. Katsuhachi is sleek and secluded, so it’s nice for a romantic evening meal, but its communal dining style, pristine interior design and spectacular Causeway Bay location also make it an impressive venue for midday meetings and business lunches.
