Just down the road from another Kashmir Curry House, this iteration of the fantastically successful, playful brand of Indian restaurants – nicknamed ‘Alibaba’ by its legions of loyal customers – finds itself snug and warm on the ground floor in the Fuk On Building, smack on the corner of Fuk Wa Street and Pei Ho Street, a handy one minute brisk walk down from Wan Ki House and right in the middle of the redevelopment action taking place on the Un Chau Estate. Just like its elder brother closer to Sham Shui Po station, this restaurant is a cheery place, the staff always ready with a smile as well as a steaming heap of South Asian cuisine. Just be sure to book a table – not only because there aren’t very many tables, but because what few there are are often occupied by people!
