Wagyu beef from Japan is a global delicacy, but can be hard to come by unless you’re connected to
those in the know. At Japanese Wagyu Yakiniku Pure inside the Hilton Towers (where else?) on
Granville Road in trendy Tsim Sha Tsui, there are Wagyu dishes aplenty. This is the perfect place for
Hong Kong foodies to swarm and for them to congratulate themselves on having such a fine Wagyu
restaurant within the city.

Wagyu beef is something of a misnomer. The word Wagyu is simply Japanese for Japanese
cow and refers to several breeds of cattle. These cows are prized for their genetic predisposition
to intense marbling on their meat. The meat from Wagyu breeds is known for its quality, and
commands a high price because of it reputation for unparalleled flavour. You might also have heard
of Kobe, Mishima, Matsusaka, Omi, and Sanda beef – these are simply other names for Wagyu beef.
There is much to be excited about then in Japanese Wagyu Yakiniku Pure in the Hilton Towers on
Granville Road – and perfect for Tsim Sha Tsui.
The team behind the wildly successful Japanese Wagyu Yakiniku Pure have finally allowed their winning formula to cross over from Japan to the shores of Hong Kong. Bringing together everything that makes Wagyu beef so popular worldwide with the urban cool of Tsim Sha Tsui means that this foodie haven is going from strength to strength. If you’re in any doubt about the unique flavours and techniques of Wagyu beef, the team at Japanese Wagyu Yakiniku Pure challenge you to sample it for yourself down on Granville Road.

We have good experience in having lunch with our friends. Nice meal with pleasure environment at reasonable price. Will try again and recommend friends to visit.
Delicious ! Nice foods and taste!! Good service!! Private area with friends to celebrate the birthday dinner!! Good environment! Wagyu so soft, taste very good! Yummy!!!Yummy!!
Excellent food and services, though not cheap at all, must give it a try if you are a big fan of wagyu and Japanese food!
Dinning in a mode of private, quiet place is more enjoyable. For order the food by just pressing the button to alert waitress is more efficency.
Saga beef set at $1250 and the shop is offering a 20% discount for dinner for their 1st year anniversary promotion (until 13 September). Portions are generous, well enough for two but the seasoning was a little bit bland. There were 4 types of beef, thinly sliced ox tongue and pork belly. Pork belly strips were nearly all fat and the beef also carried too much fat. I like marbled Japanese beef which is tender and succulent, but the marble and meat ratio was off balance for our platter, I reckon.
They have good service with comfortable environment. I like the wagyu so much, super yummy! I think they include dessert item in the lunch set. It would be more perfect.
Delicious food. But the reception is impolite because of the reservation situation
