Given the current climate surrounding COVID-19, many authorities are placing restrictions on social gatherings. In the best interest of everyone’s safety, we are continuously updating the availability of our partner restaurants to reflect these measures. We encourage people to still support the restaurant industry in other ways.Learn how
Sometimes when hunger strikes you get an itch for Japanese shabu shabu and yakitori that you simply have to scratch. Thankfully for those up in the New Territories and Yuen Long there’s a place where shabu shabu and Japanese grills come together. That place is Ichi Grill Shabu Shabu, a restaurant in the Ho Shun Lee Building along Fung Yau Street South that’s making waves among Hong Kong’s hotpot heads and skewer experts. Serving classic Japanese appetisers, sashimi, some of which is air-freighted from Japan, barbecued seafood, chicken, pork and beef and – our favourite – succulent and brothy shabu shabu stews. Not far from Yuen Long station, we recommend reserving tables at Ichi Grill Shabu Shabu in advance.
