one of the best vegetarian option in Hong Kong. recommend to try!
Love the idea and atmosphere. To me the food and drink is not bad but way too healthy for men according to my husband lolllll
Fresh ingredients and creative selection of vegetarian food. Lovely decor as well. Looking forward to try their desserts next time. However, I still find it slightly overpriced and difficult to come for regular meals.
Food was delicious and filled us up nicely. Had lunch with friends and altho portions were not large, the dishes well presented. Good service too.
Best breaky in Hong Kong, will defiantly be returning when back in Hong Kong. 10 out of 10 service and food. Also good location. Yum
nice atmosphere. portion just right (might be a bit small for boys) and taste good, love their dessert best! staff were friendly and helpful. will visit again :)
Service quite slow, very friendly but given it wasn't very busy, was surprised about how long the food took to arrive. Otherwise very happy, although portion sizes were quite small
health conscious food with vegan options, good vibe, beautiful decoration, spacious seating. It has a very interesting and special alcohol menu with Chinese herbs infused
Airy decor and serves delicious vegetarian food, one of a rare finds in the vegetarian food scene in Hong Kong. Special ingredients with surprise tastes.
Travelling with two vegan daughters we were wanting something special for our Christmas Day lunch. The restaurant was in a great area and looked very trendy. Plenty of variety on the menu but found the dishes average for taste and quality and not that good value for money. Dessert was always going to be a challenge so ordered only two and both were not that appetising. Service only average. Unfortunately not lived up to our expectations.
Great ambience and a nice place for get small to medium sized gatherings. Service was on par, along with the food, drinks etc... Not the most "HK" vibe, but then again, if you are looking for an "HK" look and feel, websites might still fall behind knowing some locals.
What a wonderful Saturday afternoon lunch. The food and drinks are great as usual. All their waiting stuff are friendly and attentive. We had a grew time.
The service, the food and almost all other aspects of the restaurant have deteriorated compared to my earlier visits and a far cry from the days at the old address.
Like the set up and sevice. I am not a vegetarian but we like their food and the popcorn chichen really surprise us. Wish they have more dish variety and include the catering bites in their menu.
Better for brunch than dinner, where the dish portions aren't quite filling enough. Great setting though - lovely space with homely decor. Service felt a bit rushed.
Very friendly people with good service & high quality of food.
The location for me is a bit remote, but the food and the drinks taste really good. One of the best vegetarian restaurant in HK!
Amazing whether or not you are vegetarian! Everything from starters to mains to desserts are amazing, can't stop going back to try the whole menu!
Service was reasonably attentive with staff pouring water every so often. However, the first waiter that took our order didn't seem to put our order through and there was a wait whereby other customers beside us who ordered later already had their dishes out. Prices were so so for the area. Best dish was popcorn "chicken", an appetiser that could be made into a main as it was so yummy. Dessert choice was limited and didn't really appeal. The orange chocolate was somewhat refreshing but for over $100, it could be better.
It's a bit pricey, but I highly recommend Grassroots Pantry for a healthy and tasty meal without sacraficing your diet. They are mostly vegan and gluten-free friendly, serving GF brea
Really lovely place for lunch. We had the set menu and although the serving sizes looked small, we were content. The decor is really inviting and the staff were very good. We'll be back again for sure.
The environment is good. Service is okay but the food is not that impressive especially the raw tiramisu taste strange. I will try it one more time.
everything was fine, service, food was very tasty. it was good to book the table as it was crowdy that day. The menu has improved with more choices, might be a little bit pricy for some meals.Over all excellent!!!
Great and relaxed service. Awesome food! We had the poached egg with smashed avocado and the pancakes. However, there so many other nice options to choose from as well. Absolutely the best place in town for GF brunch! Greatly recommendable!
I love this restaurant. The food is so good whether you're a meat eater or not. Albeit, it is pricey at times, it is one of my favourites.
Nice and original food; good service (always on top of the client's needs); nice space with wonderful decor; on the down side, some customers spilled a drink on the table/sofa/floor, but only the table got cleaned for the next customer...
The smoothies and juices were impressive. Not many options for vegans. Most of the popular dishes had free range eggs. The desserts were pretty good too.
Bland food. We asked for chilli flakes. They charged 30$ for this. We protested. They changed the bill. Terrible experience. We shall not go again.
The restaurant has a great spread of food options and are of great quality! Love the ambience and decor too! Great place for a cosy brunch! Just be warned that you'll need to climb a massive flight of stairs if you're coming from the MTR. Otherwise, this was a sweet find during my stay here in Hong Kong! :)
I like their choice of allergen free food. Helps my eczema
Grassroots Pantry is a lovely restaurant with a calming decor and phenomenally delicious food that is sustainably sourced. Peggy Chan and her team's attention to detail and devotion to responsible living come through in every aspect of the special experience at Grassrooots Pantry.
Food is nice but a little expensive and the choice is quite limited, there are still room for improvement for the service as the waiters are not very responsive.
Perfect place for vegans, best in town! Delicious food and atmosphere make it unique experience
good service.and decor. the food was good not excellent... a bit disappointed perhaps because of its great reputation . semi sun dried tomatos on the buclwheat raviole didnt go, taste.sour ... maybe try pairing it.with beetroot . The glow was a bit on the salty side ..for a fruit veg drink. the kaffir in the tiraminsu was a tard heavy thus.a bit sour even eaten with the rest of the plate.
Overall food was delicious. Service was not tho... very slow, and we did not get our food all together, as a group of 5-ladies having lunch. This was a bit annoying. Love the atmosphere and decoration of the restaurant!
This is a great restaurant catering for gluten free, vegan, diary free food lovers. Wholesome yet very delicious food, great ambience and very friendly and helpful staff.
Staff are helpful and cheerful. Comfortable seating with high ceiling. Creative dishes, fresh food with surprise. We love it especially we have vegetarians in our table. Great dinning experience!
It was my 2nd time there & still yummy dishes. Light, relaxing & healthy food does make ur mood better & lighter in body.. Will always b a vegetarian choice when im around!
Good vegan place with raw choices, but not too many and heavily overpriced. Atmosphere is bit strange and service need to smile sometimes. Make sure to book in advance as it's always full.
The waiters there were very helpful! Food was great as usual, even tho my cacao bowl didn't live up to usual standard, the restaurant was kind enough to quickly change another one for me!
