Great service and food at an affordable price. The owner was nice enough to accommodate multiple requests
Dishes are creative and impressive, staffs well explain each dish. Love tastes of all dishes, a very satisfied dinner experience. Will definitely re-visit this fabulous restaurant.
Wonderful dining experience in a very surprising location down a small alley and up some stairs. A real oasis. Delightful restaurant with only a few tables. Food and service was sensational. The fact that it is BYO and charges no corkage is a real winner too - ideal if you want to bring some really nice wine and not have to pay a fortune for it. The many courses are small, but rich and amazing combination of flavours. They are great at accommodating clients who don't eat certain foods too. They don't take credit cards and there is a set price for the menu.
A beautiful gem hidden at the back of a seedy alley. Warm ambience with a team of friendly and informative staff. Went there for a birthday dinner. Recommended.
Really great service, super attentive, on top of the food and very friendly and caring. Food highlights were the soufflé, pork and fish maw. One let down was the duck which needed a bit more flavour. Outstanding value for 7 courses. Best BYO restaurant in town by a fair way. Very good innovative French/Chinese fusion in own right.
Fa Zu Jie was an experience. The owner Chris is very lovely and helpful. The setting is cool and off the beaten track (even though it's SUPER central). The food is creative and tasty. The company welcoming and friendly. If you've never done a fancy private kitchen, this is where I'd go!
It's our first time, and we enjoyed the food & ambience. The presentation is awesome & the food, utterly ambrosial. The setting is cozy & it's rather lovely to see our food being prepared from the open kitchen. A great dining place for friends.
Great "private" restaurant. Good and delicately prepared food. Friendly, and professional, staff. The restaurant is hard to find and you must book ahead of time. Well worth a visit. Ps! You bring your own wine!
Very courteous and attentive staff. Creative and delicious food. The venue although comfy was looking “tired” it could benefit with a new coat of paint as the paint was peeling off in some places due to damp patches.
Good food and ambience. No corkage is a ++, will definitely recommend this restaurant to friends. Kitchen and surrounding could be tidier as there were a lot of clutter on the kitchen counter and dusty books around
