Aptly located on Hong Kong’s School Street, Elementary is a charming restaurant with a first class degree in gastronomy. Adored by locals, Elementary boasts an eclectic sharing menu inspired by contemporary flavour combinations from Asia, Europe and the Middle East. Whether you opt to order the braised short-rib with truffle mash or plump instead for the rigatoni with 'nduja sausage and broccolini, you are sure to be blown away by the culinary flair on show at this Tai Hang eatery. Add in to the mix a scintillating brunch offering and the venue’s warm atmosphere, and you’ll soon realise why Elementary is, in the eyes of many foodies, top of its class.

Set Lunch is different than the one shown on official website, although I suppose the menu is ever changing to keep things interesting (I hope). The $60 3 piece Oyster add-on is now $80. Would be great if there was wine / alcohol served during lunch. Most options (the mains) in the menu require additional pay, only 2 without. The food is amazing, so are the staff. Small cozy restaurant that delivers big-time dishes you might expect at a fine-dining restaurant, for an affordable price.
Overall speaking, it is high CP of its set lunch with appetiser, main, dessert and tea.
Chicken Liver Mousse was excellent as a starter. Main course, roasted chicken very nice and blood orange sorbet for pudding splendid!
