A New-York style sports bar in Hong Kong? That’s exactly right. Just when you thought the island couldn’t get any better, Eastside Tavern just swooped in and upped the game. Providing a taste of the Big Apple to East Tsim Sha Tsui food lovers, Eastside Tavern on Mody Road has successfully transported Manhattan-style flavour and style all the way across the world, and in typical American fashion, you can expect massive portions and comfort food classics.
Eastside tavern was supposed to open at 12pm but we waited until almost 12:30pm for it to open. We had 8 people waiting outside all along, and 6 of them ended up leaving. We almost missed the event UFC 202 event that day. I think Eastside Tavern should open at 10am Sunday when there is a UFC event (the next one is Nov 13th). Thank you.
Staff are very nice. Foods are okay but the ribs are not juicy enough. Environment okay but can tidy up a little bit more

Go big or go home is a fitting phrase for Hong Kong’s Eastside Tavern, where guests are served real New-York style cuisine in a sports-bar atmosphere. The buffalo chicken baguette, reuben sandwich, and the classic 8oz big cheeseburger all pay homage to American sports bar cuisine, served with a gourmet flare and of course, in big portions. The restaurant on Tsim Sha Tsui’s Mody Road offers plenty of other dishes, from pizza to steak, and has 10 craft beers to choose from for washing it all down.
