Dacha Restaurant & Bar successfully resembles a chic and very elegant country house, where the atmosphere, food and drink combine to provide a dining experience that’s unique and memorable. The focus of the food is Eastern European meaning traditional Ukrainian, Russian, Polish and Romanian dishes are all to be expected. Dacha redefines the meaning of homemade, too, with love and absolute attention to detail being poured into each and every dish. This is a curious Hong Kong restaurant on Hollywood Road, so if you’re in or around Central, be sure to make a reservation and stop by.
Food sounds delicious?
Get a table before they're gone
Get the smoked fish platter. Every morsel was scrumptious. The beef stroganoff was also excellent and the sauce paired very well with the buckwheat. The honey cake was a tad too sweet for me but my dining companion enjoyed it very much. What made the restaurant stand out was the fantastic service - friendly, warm, and the perfect balance of anticipating and catering to our needs while otherwise giving us our privacy.
Good food and good service. Great vodkas! The restaurant looks and feels like an old house - you would never guess you are on Hollywood Rd in HK.
Once you’ve taken your seat at Dacha Restaurant & Bar and eventually managed to get over just how beautiful the space is – styled with lots of gold trim, rustic white wood and elegant, vintage-style furniture – your job then is to decide what you’re going to eat. Not an easy one, friends, particularly when what’s on offer is some of the most authentic Eastern European food in Hong Kong. So whether you go for Ukrainian, Russian, Polish and Romanian, just know that this Hollywood Road haunt will have dishes to delight, as well as plenty of cakes…
As we said earlier, homemade is a big deal at Dacha Restaurant & Bar, hence why they bake bread and make pierogi, marinate tomatoes and cucumbers, grill the meat, whip cream for cakes and make delicious jam varenie all in-house! Some favourites from the menu include hearty bowls of borscht, chicken kiev, olivier salad and cheesy syrniki pancakes. Also not to be missed is the caviar, cabbage rolls and the irresistible pierogi, of course. Central and indeed wider Hong Kong all love Dacha Restaurant & Bar, and we’re quite sure you will too.
