Further Information

When it comes to French cuisine, Côte Brasserie are masters of the craft. Part of Côte Brasserie’s secret is that they take great care when it comes to sourcing their produce, whether that be the chicken from Brittany (the region of France famous for its poultry), the English asparagus grown in the Hertfordshire countryside, or the Beton tomatoes and mussels that feature on the menu when in season. From French classics to regional specialities, Côte Brasserie’s menu is sure to delight even the most discerning of French cuisine connoisseurs, and you’ll find the London Bridge restaurant located inside Hay’s Galleria on Tooley Street.

The French breakfast (two scrambled eggs, boudin noir, French streaky bacon and a field mushroom on toasted brioche) is the perfect way to start your day, while options like the salmon fish cakes are perfect for a light lunch. If you want to really indulge, we recommend going for some chargrilled steak served with frites and your choice of sauce, or the roast duck breast, followed by some classic crème brûlée. Located inside Hay’s Galleria, Côte Brasserie’s unique setting makes it the go-to place for all-day French dining in the London Bridge area.

The service was fantastic and the food was delicious, very helpful and friendly staff. We were a group of eight and were given a lovely table and were not rushed even though it was the Christmas season.

Extremely busy on a Friday night before Christmas, but the staff were all welcoming and friendly and never seemed hurried. The food was good. My risotto arrived somewhat tepid, and as soon as I mentioned it to the waiter he whisked it away and immediately arranged for a freshly prepared replacement which was hot and delicious. The desserts were to die for! Wine and beer reliably good. What most impressed my companion and me was the consistently excellent service from the friendly, efficient staff. We'll definitely be returning.

The restaurant had a really up beat atmosphere. Despite being busy the staff made time to attend to every need. Requests for menu variations were dealt with sympathetically and without fuss. The food was excellent

We have visited before and returned for a second time albeit 18months apart We were welcomed and given a choice of about 5 places to sit A friendly waitress came to serve us, I did get the impression, that although the restaurant was no where near full, tat we were being rushed to order This was confirmed when the food came out , it seemed to me to be almost straight away !! I got the feeling that it was pre-prepared My steak, obviously could not have been, but anyway that was nice and my partner enjoyed his meal too We had a desert also nice There had been a mix up in my sauce for my steak and there was another mix up in our coffee with Tia Maria At this point I had lost the will to try and explain so we just accepted what was given ! I was really disappointed as we had been looking forward to a really nice night as we had on the previous time I did notice that last time, they were queing at the door to get in and we had to wait for a table, this time , there were plenty of empty tables, shame really, maybe its the economic state

I had a lovely evening but two things were not the best. I had booked a table in my name for 5.30 and I arrived about 5.15 and asked the person if my friend had arrived or not - I was told that she had not and was shown to a table upstairs. It turned out my friend was downstairs and we wasted an hour of our evening apart as we both thought the other had been held up. We both ordered the veal off the a la carte menu, mine was lovely, but my friend's was like a piece of shoe leather - we did mention it to the waiter as he cleared the plates and the manager came across, apologised and took the cost of the veal off the menu. I really like the restaurant and the staff were very good - just a shame about these two things

This was our annual family pre-Xmas lunch and the first at Côte London Bridge - Hay's Galleria. We had a trial run in the summer which was successful. This was even better, indeed superb I am a long-term fan of Côte in Fitzrovia, Parsons Green, Eton, Marlow and Soho I will add Hay's Galleria to my list and endeavour to keep converting others to the Côte experience. My family's thanks to all concerned for yesterday.

This was my first visit to the Hay's Galleria, London Bridge Cote, I have been to the St. Martins Lane restaurant on a number of occasions and also to Tunbridge Wells and am always impressed with the food and the friendliness and efficiency of the staff. My visit today 23/8/17 with a friend at lunchtime was to celebrate my birthday, we were able to sit outside on the terrace with wonderful views of Tower Bridge, the River Thames and HMS Belfast. The food was delicious as always (consistently excellent across all the Cote restaurants I have visited). All of the staff were helpful, friendly and efficient. I would highly recommend eating there if you are in the area.

We visited on a Saturday. I did feel to start with that the staff were wishing to do a quick turnover which we did not want. However they were all friendly and efficient. We are familiar with the main menu and the foos was good. However I had to return my starter of Moules Mariniere as it was cold. Apologies and a fresh dish was served quite quickly which was hot as it should be. Again I had to send my main course back to be reheated. On both occasions this was done without fuss and quite quickly. My husband was happy with his food and we both enjoyed Tarte Tatin for dessert. As a goodwill gesture they removed the charge for the moules which we thought was good of them. In all good value for money and a pleasant location.

Service very shambolic this time. Our waiter insisted on trying to deliver our main course (twice) even though we pointed out that I had not yet finished my starter. The second time he came with the two main courses he was really keen for my friend to accept hers - which she did, although I had still not finished my starter. By the time I had finished my starter and was ready for my main course the chicken was lukewarm and the potatoes were cold. My friend's main course was also not hot enough. The chicken was dry and not as tasty as it usually is at Cote. Also, the waiter who took our wine order didn't seem aware of the Cote rewards system and asked me which wine I wanted, so I had to explain that there was only one red and one white wine available as a reward under the terms of the offer.
