Great experience and very much looking forward to our next visit. Staff very attentive, food scrummy and atmosphere relaxed even though it was very busy
Really enjoyable evening. Good food with good choice on menu. excellent and friendly service. My friends and I will definitely be back. Soon I hope.
Staff are friendly and breakfast is lovely! I would recommend this restaurant. Food is good value and restaurant is clean. Staff are very attentive too.
Another excellent meal at Cote in Chislehurst. Food and service spot on as always.
Very good service and lovely food but is expensive for children if they like steak ! It would be helpful to be told if table is in bottom part of restaurant after requesting the top part as doesn’t have the same atmosphere being by the door with cold breeze coming in wen opened. Please put an option of a small steak on kids menu as they often want it but can’t eat whole one and £11 is a lot to pay .If you offered half portion would be a great addition and some vegetables rather than just chips or having to pay £3.50 for carrots or beans would be a healthy addition to include some vegetables in the price or meal easily becomes £15 a child before you start and similar size to chicken offered on kids menu which includes veg and more reasonably priced . Will return and hope this is helpful
We are regular customers at Cote and believe it's the best thing that's happened to Chislehurst since we moved here 9 years ago. Not only is the service unfailingly good, friendly and efficient, but we have never had a bad meal here. I'm sure if you were not happy the Manager would exchange your meal because that's the sort of service they give. Our favourite is the early bird because the portion sizes are perfect for us, however, last night I enjoyed the slow roast belly pork . Their creme caramel is also a favourite as is the crumble with my husband.
We always book at Chislehurst branch for birthdays, get togethers, etc The staff are always at their best making us all very welcome, and they are always very attentive and friendly. We usually have your pre-7pm menu as time suits us best. On this particular occasion the Hake was not the menu and as nearly all of us are vegetarian this restricted the choice and would suggest for future that a substitute i.e. fish cakes, or similar could be offered. Besides that all is absolutely fine and look forward to our next visit hitch will be very soon. Thanks and best wishes
A wonderful evening was had by all. We were given the table that is in its own little room but very much part of the restaurant, this was great as we had not seen each other for a while and were able to be very chatty and sometimes a little loud with out disturbing the other guests. Our waiter was very attentive recommending dishes and wine to compliment the food, the service was quick, food as always excellent and atmosphere great. Once again we were the last to leave , thank you for a special evening.
Our meal for 4 was excellent. We arrived in time for the early menu offer. Food choices on the set menu were varied and the quality of the food served was really good. Starters of duck pate and mackerel rillettes were both really tasty. Seasonal asparagus was also delicious. Of the main courses the beast of chicken melted in the mouth and the sea bass on a bed of mash with a sauce vierge was cooked perfectly. Added to that service was attentive and friendly. A super dining experience.
We were able to choose our table and opted to sit near the back of the restaurant where we go. The service was attentive without being intrusive; we were with an old friend and needed plenty of time to swap news and views. As usual the food was excellent. My melon was slightly unripe but I managed to excavate most if it! We particularly enjoyed the house red wine. We lingered after our meal and no one hovered with our bill until we asked for it. Reasonable prices.
