Metropark Corner Hotel in Mong Kok has a few hidden gems for non-hotel guests. For starters, the cake shop on the ground floor dishes out some of the freshest and tastiest baked goods to be found in Hong Kong, and Cafe Concourse on the hotel’s third floor offers an international buffet bound to make anybody drool. For a relaxing drink, though, the place to go is Cheers Bar. Decked out with plenty of soft lounge chairs, natural window light and a large range of drinks both familiar and intriguing, Cheers Bar is built for unwinding. However, it’s also a great, casual but classy spot for a business meeting, and with the two aforementioned snack or dining options it’s sure to impress on date night, too. Metropark Corner Hotel is on Lai Chi Kok Road just after it splits from Nathan Road, not far from Prince Edward MTR, in case you’re already planning a visit.
