About BUKAN Japanese Restaurant 武館
More about the restaurant: BUKAN Japanese Restaurant 武館
The western area of Kowloon known as Tai Kok Tsui is a curious blend of towering residential developments, old harbourfront industrial zones and, demographically, an older generation of Hong Kong residents now mingling with a recent influx of younger people whose energies are beginning to transform an otherwise sleepy part of the city. Part of the new direction the neighbourhood is taking involves a crop of new restaurants catering to typically cosmopolitan Hong Kong tastes. One such representative is BUKAN Japanese Restaurant, helmed by chef Takeshi whose international experience bodes well for his venture on the ground floor of the Peony House block East along Pok Man Street. The ultimate BUKAN experience is without a doubt Takeshi’s omakase banquets, where diners go in blind as to what’s on the menu in order to experience fine Japanese cuisine unburdened by any preconceptions.
