About Beef & Liberty - Lan Kwai Fong
More about the restaurant: Beef & Liberty - Lan Kwai Fong
This here is big boy beef. The burgers are beautiful, to the eyes and the tastebuds, and the quality of meat (organic, grass-fed) is several cuts above what you often get at other burger joints around Hong Kong – excluding, of course, the other outlets of Beef & Liberty. It’s a well-known name among beefy burger-lovers or those with a penchant for American comfort foods, but there’s much more than meats the eye at Beef & Liberty’s buzzing Lan Kwai Fong outlet (vegetarians and coeliacs are in no way left out of the fun). Just minutes from Central MTR on D’Aguilar Street, queues are common at Beef & Liberty and although the food is certainly worth the wait, we strongly recommend advance table reservations!

You know I’m all about that beef – well, at least that’s what you’ll be saying after you visit Beef & Liberty in Lan Kwai Fong. Right in the hub of Hong Kong’s most buzzing micro-district, this haven of heavenly burgers is a welcome sight for Central’s hungry business lunch crowd, and it’s the ideal place to line the stomach of an evening of revelry. The beef packed into burger patties by hand right here on D’Aguilar Street is from grass-fed, hormone-free cattle raised in Tasmania, and believe us – you taste the difference.
It’s not only beef though, with a host of delicious, aesthetically impressive burgers ranging from beetroot and brown rice to slow-braised BBQ pork and crackling, and while the burgers are, how do you say, out of this world, there is a lot, lot more on offer at this D’Aguilar Street star – like sweet potato fries, pumpkin and lentil salad, American-style warm skillet cookie and cream, mac ‘n’ cheese bites, sausage roll and many, many more enticing entities. Beef & Liberty is often packed – whether of late-night Lan Kwai Fong revellers or during Hong Kong’s lunchtime power hour when Central’s office blocks empty and streetside queues form – so bookings are strongly advised.
