With sleek and stylish decor, Bao Bei is one of Central Hong Kong’s trendiest offerings. Here you can share some small plates with friends while catching up over cocktails, or enjoy lunch or dinner in a sophisticated setting away from the hustle and bustle of the area. Bao Bei serves up Asian-influenced comfort food with a gourmet twist. We recommend trying one of Bao Bei’s speciality baos, like the kobe pork belly bao or the wagyu beef baoger with kabayaki black fungus and onion aioli.
Other delicious options include tapas style dishes like the crispy cuttlefish with homemade sauces, chicken lollipops, mapo tofu fries and tiger prawn cheese wonton. The drinks menu at Bao Bei is equally as delicious with a range of speciality cocktails. We love the typhoon no.10, a delectable combination of tanqueray no.10, osmanthus honey, orange juice, lemon juice, egg white and osmanthus jelly cake. To guarantee a table at this Central Hong Kong hotspot, making a reservation in advance is recommended.
A great place for happy hour with colleagues when you prefer something more special than standard drinks. cozy environment with very interesting cocktails, the happy hour discount surely gave us some fun! Recommended
Funky fresh ambience. Surprising choices on menu! We loved crispy crab bun, sprouts with ham, ginger crime brûlée. Will definitely return to try out other options. Staff friendly and attentive.
superb cocktails, food and services! fav cocktails: childhood memory and osmanthus tom collins
Drinks list is quite innovative.Food was good, but service was a bit slow. Wish they could serve the food more promptly. Not sure if i would go back again.
The restaurant is nicely decorated, perfect for a group of friends or couples. I think it's a place for pre-drinks rather than a proper meal, as the portion is quite small. Highly recommend the Mapo tofu fries.
I would recomment to first timers to try but do not expect anything too exciting. Presentation of food: Good Taste of food: Average Service: Good Price: Average
the food is fancy but is a bit too oily, the drink we ordered is a fusion of chinese herbal tea and western flavour which is quite special
First of all they thought I booked dinner when I booked for lunch. Portions were tiny and the 'mini poon choy' was extremely salty. Not going back.
The food portion is too small for such price, the cocktail is special but the taste is not that great. Could do better than this
