We’ve had our fair share of pizza in Hong Kong, and while the city is loaded with great restaurants, there’s just something special about this beloved dish at Babbo Trattoria in Hong Kong’s Causeway Bay. Located on the fifth floor of Plaza 2000 on Russell Street, the restaurant is in close proximity to Canal Road West tram station and well connected to the rest of Hong Kong. The restaurant’s chic environment makes the experience all the more special, and a must for those who want a stylish evening out.
Ready for some of the best pizza you’ve ever had? Then step right up to Babbo Trattoria in Hong Kong’s Causeway Bay and prepare to nosh like never before. Grab your own personal-sized pizza and enjoy a soft, chewy crust topped with pizza sauce, mozzarella and your favourite toppings – handmade one by one, each pizza looks different from one another and has a flavour all its own. Visit for lunch and take one of the restaurant’s specials, including linguine with scallops, pizza fattoria (topped with eggplant, mushroom, mozzarella and tomato), and pollo di balsamico (chicken with garlic, rosemary and balsamic sauce), served alongside soup, salad and a drink. Food was delicious. Service was great. We ordered a pizza and pasta with clams vangole. Clams were fresh and succulent, rightly flavored with garlic, pepper and other spices. Pizza was thick, fragrant and piping hot. Unfortunately we went on a saturday so the lunch specials were not available.
Delicious Italian food at a convenient location. Pizza was good, pasta good too but hope they have special lunch meal on weekends as well. Kudos
First time to the restaurant and it was a nice find. Food quality is good. Pizza took a bit long to come. Overall is good.
This Italian restaurant served quality food in good quantity. We went for lunch on a Sunday so the restaurant was quiet. We had pizzas (delectable), calamari pasta, angel hair gamberi, and others. Food was delicious. My only suggestion is to offer set lunches even on weekends as its competitors do. Maybe this will bring in more traffic to the restaurant.
Very good pizza (Best in Causeway Bay, they claim), pasta, and bruschetta! The service was attentive, but not too pushy. Italian meals are supposed to be relaxed, not like some restaurants in Hong Kong where you only have a certain amount of time to eat. The space can be a little loud, and some dimmer lighting would be nice instead of fluorescents, but overall a nice meal.
Nice food n attentive service. Tables are quite close to one and other though. Big selection of pasta pizza from the menu and don't forget to try the seafood soup
Good restaurant, the food was fine and the decoration too but the service a little too slowly and the price a little bit expensive (HK$ 215 for a risotto or $218 for a plate of pasta).
Really good value for money, portions are generous, the pasta with Tomato sauce and cheese was so t'as t'y. Atmosphere relaxing in the middle of busy district.
Searting is not all the comfy for children unless you get a booth. Pizza was good - nice and light - service was very good!
