Nice service and food, good experience. Will try the branch of the restaurant next time and remember to bring wine for yourself. Good time with my wife there.
Safely among Tsim Sha Tsui’s premier fine-dining restaurants, Amina Modern European in Long Kee Mansion on Cameron Road offers dish after dish after dish of refined European cookery in a comfortable but elegant setting. Well known among discerning Hong Kong diners, Amina Modern European is known to have a waiting list and reservations are vital, but we can promise that it will be well worth the effort. Whether you’re just in the mood for a fine wine and some freshly shucked oysters or lining up Amina Modern European’s fabulous 8/10-course tasting menu, you’re in for a treat.
The rotating menu dashes from intriguing modern European creations like marinated Norwegian scampi with saffron crab meat terrine, to French masterpieces like confit de canard with cinnamon braised caramel apple or an exquisite crème brûlée. Everything is presented beautifully, and each section of their multi-course degustation is photo worthy, but most importantly the taste is a clear cut above most European restaurants in Hong Kong. The overall dining experience at Amina Modern European is simply superb, so if you get half the chance (and manage to nab a table) to enjoy this Tsim Sha Tsui standard-bearer, don’t pass it up.
