About Amina² Cuisine
More about the restaurant: Amina² Cuisine
Looking for a square meal with a European edge in Causeway Bay, a meal that takes dining in Hong Kong to another level? Look no further than Amina², formerly I-Amina Italian & Oyster, up on the fourth floor of the Po Ming Building down Foo Ming Street, just off the busy East Point and Happy Valley thoroughfare of Percival Street. The Lee Theatre may have long since closed down, but there’s still some of the old-world drama on Amina’s menu. Start with New Zealand blue mussels and tuna marinated in a citrus vinegar and citrus chutney. Go for a lobster bisque, pan-fried foie gras and apricot mingle, and a number of classy main courses: pan-fried tiger prawns and Hokkaido scallop pappardelle in a tarragon-infused brandy cream sauce, Wagyu beef with a marble index of 9 served with Iberico jamon-wrapped asparagus in a white parsnip puree seasoned with Himalayan rose salt.
