Ahimsa Buffet is one of these rare gems, whose premises on the ground floor of the Wah Hai Mansion along North Point’s Fort Street is therefore a hotspot for non-meat-eaters looking for affordable, quality vegetarian cuisine. It’s also something of a unique concept in that the restaurant only offers two menus!

Ahimsa Buffet has been hugely popular since opening its doors in late 2015. Yes, Ahimsa Buffet is a special on at least two counts. First it is a Hong Kong vegetarian and vegan restaurant, which is itself a rare thing. Secondly it only serves two menus, a buffet menu that gives you a 90-minute free for all for an incredibly good price, or a more lavish hotpot menu.
