When we asked to change for a better seating, they made arrangement for us to sit in the bar area, and we were the only table there on that Tuesday night. Friendly staff. Only the paella was a bit too salty.
we had our xmas dinner and we had a lovely evening. The food was yummy and the waitress was very attentive. We will definitely go again.
The restaurant is spacious with great design, perfectly for a group of friends gathering. The food and wine were really good! Recommend the truffle sandwich, suckling pig and sangria.
We had a great evening at La Paloma - really good food, friendly staff, nice deco. But for the price the portions were a bit too pricy
Nice place and environment with good food (I love their tapas!) Such a relaxing place with reasonable price. Made me miss the date back in Barcelona.
My first time at La Paloma. A lovely restautrant and very friendly staff. The food was simply amazing I was there during the guest chef El Palanca and had the special menu, it was fantastic. I will go back again.
Good place with nice food but air conditioning is too cold. Very accommodating and friendly for special occasions which is an added bonus. A bit hard to find but not too hard.
Just OK. If you love tapas then you'll like this place. Avoid the tortilla. It's not. And at 2230 they start switching the lights off. No 2 minute warning. Acoustics bad or maybe the neighboring table of two were just very loud.
Nice food. Great white sangria. Not much of an atmosphere but we were there quite early into the evening. Service was good though across the whole evening.
Yummy food good service and excellent ambience for family and friends. the portion could be slightly bigger given the price. have been there twice and would love to go back
La Paloma has not yet been inflicted by typical Hong Kong restaurant inconsistencies. The food and service are always on the mark. Food is delicious, but 4 stars instead of 5 as some portion sizes are a bit varied for sharing - such as tortillas are more than adequate but the the fresh sardinillas are too small to be shared.
+ Dishes are flavorful + drinks and wines are good and pqr is medium high + atmosphere is nice and relaxed + service is good + convenient location - portion size is small for the price, pqr low medium
Came here for a meal with the girls. Food was yummy, we ordered a paella which was huge, the seabass, lentils with chorizo (mmmmm) and some croquettes - all very tasty. The interior of the restaurant is very funky, the only thing is that its very noisy when full with other people so were having to shout a lot. That being said we did have an enjoyable evening and I would come back.
I have been before at FuFu. And it was amazing. La Paloma the food is very well done also. I felt like at home(i am Spanish). The people is kind and warm. But it is extremelly pricy. Almost 500 HKD for one Sangria. So I will not come back. regards
very nice tapas, plus also reasonably priced! the restaurant has a fun decoration and really recommend you to try the sexy chef menu in order to sample different tapas!
Food is nice, ambiance is good and casual, but its a little bit overpriced. Easy to access from Sai Ying Pun MTR station with 2 mins walk.
Excellent ambience and food. Very good service. Try the tapas and the paella, they were delicious. Definitely a nice place to go for any kind of celebration with friends!!!
Food and drinks are really nice and the service matches up. The stars of the show to me are the dry seafood paella and the suckling pig.
I had a great experience dining here yesterday while celebrating my birthday! Thank you very much for making it such a memorable experience! I look forward to coming back in the near future!!!
Dinner set is pretty good. Tad noisy as there was a function going on but they were happy to re-seat us to a quieter corner.
Pretty good for the week-end brunch. The paella had a rather strong taste though but the other tapas were good overall. I'd recommend it, yes.
Good food, reasonable pricing. Spacious dining area too! Highlight was the squid ink paella and wagyu beef. The sardines tapas was yummy but the grilled squid tapas was rubbery. Will be back to try other dishes
Had Super Monday (buy one get one free) here so we didn't try the tapas. I had the lamb short ribs which were ok but my friend's sea bass platter was really good (and beautifully presented). Special braised rib taco only came as one piece, so it wasn't really worth the money.
Excellent food, attentive and very helpful staff. Shame about the acoustics though - very noisy venue and not conducive to conversation. Really interesting menu - lots of variety and beautifully presented dishes.
La Paloma is always one of the best restaurant in town, love their patata braves and squid ink paella so much, and the price just so reasonable!
Awesome food and great atmosphere with a very helpful staff....just a bit difficult to locate however definitely worth the effort.
My second time there, same as my previous experience - good food with reasonable price. Corkage free on Tuesday which is even better. The only bad thing is a bit too noisy.
food arrived way to quickly for my liking. within 5 minutes all my appetizers were out on the table. additionally, I didn't feel like they were as enthusiastic about serving us
Everyone at the table agreed that the food was seriously good and reasonably priced. Tables were spaced nicely apart instead of being crammed as is the practice for new restaurants.
Definitely worth to try, food was good with reasonable price.
Food and atmosphere were fantastic! I would definitely go back :) I would have given the restaurant a 5, but the waitstaff just needed to be a bit more attentive, on multiple occasions we had to try and get their attention while 3 or more were standing around having a chat. When I did get their attention to ask for a glass of wine, they took my order and walked off without asking the rest of the table what they would like. Having said that, food and drinks were brought out quickly once we had ordered, and there was one waiter who once we got his attention was brilliant and very helpful.
The food was good, staff were nice and the ambience was vibrant. I would recommend the meatballs with squid as it is a bit different from how other Spanish restaurants prepare meatballs. The daily special of grilled red prawns is very nice and fresh, but it is $78 per prawn which is a bit pricy. Loved the rice pudding dessert!! Will have to go back with a bigger group to try the paella.
Very good food (croquetas are just amazing) and nice service. The atmosphere is relaxed, not too noisy. But overall a bit too expensive, especially the drinks
Great food great location with reasonable price staff are friendly and professional Love the Terrance with nice breeze 10 seconds away from sai yin pun station A1
I've been to the Paloma three times. Never have i been disappointed Great atmosphere and food. Fairly priced and a great staff. I definitely recommend it.
Very good value for money. If you like Spanish good it's a no brainier brunch deal. Service staff were very attentive, friendly and the food was excellent.
Those bacon and cheese explosive air baguettes...They are to die for. I thought the novelty would wear off the second time round but nope, they were still amazing.
Tapas was excellent as was the red wine and very reasonably priced too. Definitely book ahead to ensure you get a table as we went on a Saturday and it was packed.
I am ovo lactose & gluten intolerant. The staff at La Paloma went out of their way to accommodate me, even customizing some of the dishes in their brunch menu so that I could eat it. I was very impressed!
The food and service were outstanding. The value for money can't be better and the gin tonic was just perfect. Well done guys will come back
