Did not go due to bad service. Communicated poorly and unprofessional service. They “Whatsapp “‘d me at 11Pm in the evening asking for a deposit and said the deposit can be as much as I’m willing to give.
NEVER EVER COMING AGAIN! I am so disappointed and upset by the restaurant. It's a mothers day celebration, my family and I ordered the 4-course dinner. We ordered at 8:05, the appetizer - foie gras toast arrived at around 8:40, it doesnt taste like foie gras at all they only put a thin spread on the toast.... Then the soup - clam soup arrived at ard 9:30, seriously?! After 1hr30min?? Another table of family left in rage because of the slow food delivery, i feel so bad for them cos it's the mother who was really angry....anyways, back to the clam soup, the soup tasted alright, but the funny thing is there is no clam but only the clam shell LOL so everyone on the table is like starving and i kept chasing the waitress and the manager, NEITHER one of them EVER apologised because of the slow delivery, they just kept saying the food is coming... While i was trying to joke around with my fam now that a table has left our food should come faster geez and i feel so bad about it So finally the main dish is on, my steak came first and i asked for medium, when i cut from the side, the meat is red, almost bloody inside.. Im quite sure given my previous 5-year dining experience in the uk, medium doesnt look like that. oh and they at first forgot to give me a knife and i had to chase for that. While others are still waiting for the main, i finally asked the waitress why the food is so slow. She said that usually there are like 3/4 chefs in the kitchen, but only 1/2 today as the others went on leave to celebrate mothers day...i was speechless by that - client expectation / booking management When the lobster risotto and salmon steak finally arrived, they tasted so-so, definitely not worth the wait... The cheesecake dessert is salty too, the only positive thing is that they dont charge for cake-cutting as i got a cake for my mom and we get to take as many photos as we want being the last table in the restaurant. When i asked for the bill, the manager kept saying oh come again next time, we do really nice afternoon tea...without apologising for the slow delivery at all....please just shut up. And right before we left the restaurant, she came up to give my mom the complimentary mothers day gift that every table received - a flower and a box of cookie. Sorry, not impressed.
