    Restaurants in Coleford

You'll love the restaurants in Coleford

A pretty little town located in the Forest of Dean, Coleford's thriving market town centre is a preserved conservation area filled with historic buildings with plenty for visitors to see and do. The ancient iron mines at Clearwell Caves are popular with locals and tourists alike, who take in the views over the Wye Valley at Symonds Yat and enjoy long walks at Puzzle Wood. The Sculpture Trail and Railway Museum are other key attractions, and there are also excellent town walks that stop at some of the ancient churches and local landmarks, as well as pass some of Coleford’s most tempting restaurants.

Make an evening of it at Coleford's restaurants

If you are looking to enjoy an evening in town, then the restaurants in Coleford are a great place to start. You'll spot enticing gastronomic venues across town as you wander through the picturesque streets, with everything from cosy Italian bistros and Indian eateries through to busy fish & chip shops and trendy gastropubs. One particular favourite of ours is The Angel in the old market place which has a delicious menu that focuses on English and Welsh classics, with everything from homemade steak pies and chips through to Thai-inspired curries.
